Welcome to Catalyst World School Where education is a voyage of discovery.Our curriculum is designed to encompass both academics and subject enrichment activities, fostering holistic learning for students. The curriculum is structured across various stages of development.

Foundational Stage (3+2):
The curriculum in this stage is flexible and multifaceted, focusing on play-based, activity-based, and inquiry-based learning. It includes the exploration of alphabets, languages, numbers, colors, shapes, indoor and outdoor play, puzzles, logical thinking, problem-solving, drawing, painting, visual arts, craft, drama, puppetry, music, and movement. Social capacities, sensitivity, good behavior, courtesy, ethics, personal and public cleanliness, teamwork, and cooperation are also emphasized.

Grades 1&2:
As students progress, the school introduces formal teaching and subject exposure. The interdisciplinary curriculum integrates concepts, moving beyond knowledge acquisition to real-life application. Subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, EVS, G.K, Computer (ICT), Sanskrit, French, and Public Speaking are taught through a student-friendly, activity-based approach. Assessments focus on observation, nature walks, field trips, and group tasks, avoiding explicit testing and ensuring holistic evaluation.

Preparatory Stage:
This stage offers languages, mathematics, arts, physical education, and specialized courses like Financial Literacy, Cultural Connections (Sanskrit), Global Perspective (French), and ICT Integration. Mindful classes with a multi-disciplinary approach encourage exploration and understanding of the natural and social world. Pedagogy is activity and discovery-based, with assessments including observation, worksheets, and short formal written evaluations.

Middle Stage:
The curriculum covers Science, Social Sciences, and languages (English, Hindi, Sanskrit & French). Students are exposed to vocational courses like Financial Literacy, Travel & Tourism, Design thinking & innovation, and Culinary & baking. The pedagogy emphasizes direct interaction, exploration, and inquiry. Assessments are formal and explicit, focusing on reasoning within each form of understanding rather than mere recall of facts.

Secondary/ Senior Secondary:
This stage aims at holistic development, constructive learning, competency-based assessments, and the application of knowledge in real-life problem-solving. Innovative pedagogical approaches, including experiential learning, activity-centered methods, joyful learning, sports and art integration, storytelling, gamification, and ICT integration, are incorporated. Subjects offered include English, Hindi, Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Information Technology.The curriculum also strengthens knowledge and attitude related to livelihood skills.

As students progress to the Senior Secondary level, they have the opportunity to explore elective areas tailored to their interests. These include language options like English, science disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Information Practices (IP), and Computer Science (CS), as well as Mathematics. For those inclined towards business and commerce, we offer electives like Accountancy, Business Studies, and Economics.

Our curriculum goes beyond traditional academics, encompassing Health & Physical Education and General Studies. We believe in a holistic approach to education, ensuring that students not only excel in formal tests and examinations but also develop the ability to process larger amounts of information for analysis and synthesis.
