Exciting Inter-House Cricket Matches for Classes 6-8 & Classes 9-12 at Catalyst World School. Here's how the matches unfolded on 20th & 21st December.

20th December - Classes 6-8
Match 1: Pioneers vs. Reformers
Pioneers won the toss and chose to bowl first. The Reformers managed to score 24 runs in 6 overs. Mahima from the Pioneers bowled a phenomenal spell, taking 4 key wickets. The Pioneers chased the target effortlessly in just 2.3 overs, securing a comfortable victory.
Match 2: Visionaries vs. Innovators
Visionaries won the toss and opted to bowl. Innovators set a challenging target of 75 runs in 6 overs, thanks to an outstanding performance by Priyansh Mandloi. The Visionaries fought hard but fell short, losing the match by 31 runs.
Final Match: Pioneers vs. Innovators
In the ultimate showdown, Innovators won the toss and chose to bowl. The Pioneers scored 45 runs in 6 overs, but Priyansh Mandloi once again showcased his batting prowess, leading the Innovators to victory in just 2 overs.

21st December - Classes 9-12
The first match was played between Pioneers and Innovators. Innovators won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Pioneers scored an impressive 63 runs in 6 overs. While chasing the target, Innovators lost the match by 9 runs.
The second match was between Visionaries and Reformers. Reformers won the toss and chose to bowl first. Yash Singh and Mayank Patel of Visionaries scored a massive total of 110 runs in 6 overs, with Yash making an unbeatable 50 runs. Reformers lost the match by 56 runs while chasing the target.
In the final match, Pioneers faced Visionaries. Visionaries won the toss and opted to bowl first. Pioneers scored 68 runs in 6 overs, and Visionaries collapsed while chasing the target, losing the match by 10 runs.
Congratulations to Innovators House (Class 6-8) & Pioneers House (Class 9-12) for the well-deserved win in the final match and to all the players for their incredible performances.

Highlight of the whole event was the girls playing cricket so well!
Principal Mrs Poonam Shekhawat motivated the students with her wonderful commentary, along with Sir Ankit Emmanuel as co-commentator.
The day ended with a friendly match between the teachers and driver conductors, adding an extra spark to the event.
